TOA East Tennessee Celebrates Open House for New Parkwest Surgery Center Surgeries Set to Begin October 2025

KNOXVILLE, TENN. — Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) East Tennessee recently welcomed healthcare partners, community leaders, and special guests for an open house at the new TOA Parkwest Surgery Center. The event, held on Tuesday, August 12, celebrated the upcoming launch of TOA’s first ambulatory surgery center in the state of Tennessee.

Located at 9461 Sherrill Boulevard in Knoxville, the Parkwest Surgery Center marks a major milestone for TOA and orthopedic care in the East Tennessee region. The new facility features 12 operating rooms and is equipped to provide a wide range of procedures, including joint replacements, spine surgeries, upper extremity surgeries, and more.

Surgeries at the Parkwest Surgery Center are scheduled to begin in early October 2025. The center was designed with patients in mind, offering a modern, comfortable, and efficient setting for outpatient orthopedic care.

During the open house, attendees toured the state-of-the-art facility, met with TOA providers, and learned more about the surgical services that will soon be available. The opening of the Parkwest Surgery Center expands TOA’s ability to provide high-quality orthopedic care across East Tennessee, all within a convenient outpatient environment.
